Cyber-security workshop

A morning workshop on cyber-security with Optimising IT & SW Regional Cyber Crime Unit

Tuesday 12th March 2019 / 8.30am – 11am

Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, The Brightside Ground, Nevil Road Bristol, BS7 9EJ – Hosted by C2S

Who is your weakest link?

95% of cyber-attacks start with an employee being tricked.

On Tuesday 12th March, Optimising IT’s Head of Consultancy – Todd Gifford (CISSP), and South West Police – Cyber Protect, Prepare & Prevent Officer for the Regional Cyber Crime Unit – Sam Parsons, will be sharing their experiences and insights into the dark world of cybercrime. You will find out why social engineering works and even be tasked with delving into the hacker mindset. You will hear of real-life cybercrime cases and learn how to identify cyber vulnerabilities in your supply chain.

With cyber-incidents being the no.1 risk to UK businesses, you’ll walk away with a clear understanding of the most prevalent cyber-threats facing your organisation, how to locate cyber vulnerabilities and ultimately prevent becoming another cybercrime statistic.
